Chalet “Les Trois Canards” offer superb catered skiing holidays, in picturesque French resort of Chatel. We aim to provide you with the perfect chalet environment for your mountain fun. We offer a few days piste ski guiding to familiarize you with the ski domain, allowing everyone to enjoy the pistes without the need to struggle with a map and finding some pistes you otherwise might have missed. After a busy day out the evening meal with wine 6 days a week is a treat to look forward too, our fully qualified chef will not disappoint. Before dinner try relaxing in the Jacuzzi or around the log fire, Sky+ TV & free Wifi available too.

Our recently built modern chalet with 5 bedrooms offers stunning mountain views along the Abondance valley, with the South facing aspect capturing the full benefit of the winter sun. Many a guest has decided on a mid week rest day to relax on the balcony with a book whilst sunning themselves. Alternately our home cinema system has 1500+ movies stored, so once you’ve overcome the problem of choosing one it time to put your feet up and relax.

The resort of Chatel is a real hidden gem in the Alps, picture postcard views are on offer all around the village. A mixture of modern ski resort and traditional farming village it’s a relaxing place to stay, offering plenty of bars & restaurants from authentic Savoyard to modern cuisine.

Obviously it’s the skiing that’s the main draw and the “Portes du Soleil” ski domain will not disappoint, with over 360kms of marked pistes it one of biggest linking ski areas in the world. Continuous investments in new lifts and snow making equipment have produced a world class area, where it’s possible to ski the whole day without using the same piste twice. For the more adventurous the off piste skiing to equally impressive, with a mix of open areas and tree lined runs.
